1st Trimester Reflections

1. I understand the slope-intercept form well.
2. I wished I had done better on the chapter 5 test.
3. Algebra has been a challenge for me so far this year. Standard form has been a stuggle for me. I don't understand it very well.
4. I feel like I have mastered solving simple-step equations and multi-step equations.
5. 1. Study a little harder for tests or quizzes coming up.
    2. Speak up a little more.
I will acomplish these goals by going over the notes a couple times before a test/quiz and if I have a question about a problem, I will ask.

Adding and subtracting Integers

a) 5+-8 you would do -8 - 5= -3. You take the sign of the higher absolute value. b) -4+10 You would do 10- -4=6. Take the sign of the higher absolute value.  c) 4-9 you would do 4-9=-5  d) -8-(-9).  you would do 9- -8= 1 Take the sign of the higher absolute value.
